As a Senior Compensation Analyst based either in our Downtown Los Angeles or Irvine office, you will be an important member of the Global Compensation team. Working alongside Capital Group’s compensation professionals, you will be responsible for supporting and administering the full range of comprehensive compensation programs and consulting services, including the annual common review process, organizational change and organizational design initiatives, annual incentive plan design changes, and creating offers for non-sales and sales positions for the global sales, marketing and product management client groups. You will work closely with business line management, HR Business Partners and other internal HR COE functions to deliver integrated HR solutions.
 
Responsibilities:
•Researching and analyzing global market data, salary surveys and compensation trends to effectively partner with the business to make recommendations and influence business decisions
•Support compliance with federal, state and local regulations and Capital Group global compensation practices
•Responsible for recommending, developing and administering pay guidelines and compensation programs
•Administer annual compensation review process (merit, bonus, equity and promotion recommendations) 
•Significant data analysis, commission and incentive plan modeling 
•Supporting annual compensation programs and focal review cycles including testing and implementing system enhancements for our compensation planning tools
•Developing total compensation offer recommendations for both non sales and sales and commission based roles in the US and internationally 
•Interviewing managers and developing job descriptions 
•Participating projects such as creating and managing Workforce Analytics metrics, analytics and dashboards
•Collaborating with HR and business professionals across North America, Europe and Asia in a team oriented environment 
•Maintain a strong understanding of internal and external sales compensation design principles, practices and regulations
•Leads small to medium size position studies
 
Qualifications:
•3 or more years of Human Resources or Human Resources consulting experience with at least 1 year of compensation experience, preferred
•Strong communication, analytical, facilitation and presentation skills to foster and drive understanding of global sales compensation philosophies, practices and administration among global business line leaders, managers and sales associates
•Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
•Bachelor’s degree required
•CCP certification and/or prior experience in HRIS, preferred
