Insurance Assistant - Licensed in Property and Casualty
Job DescriptionThe Licensed Insurance Assistant in Property and Casualtywill be responsible for quoting, customer service, policy review, billing questions on policies, and collecting, tracking and reviewing documentation for Country Financial. Marketing and selling Auto and Home Owner's and Commercial Insurance to prospects. Varied duties and job skills. Insurance Assistant has their own separate office which is an office Condo. The other offices are occupied by independent financial broker, moving specialist and myself. I have been a Country Insurance Agent for 25 years and worked in insurance 30 years. This position is a flexible work schedule. The office is in Lakewood/University Place on the corner of 74th and Lakewood Drive, Pacific Square Office Building. Duties and Responsibilities:• Customer Services to include answering phones, communication through email, greeting customers, helping customers with their policies, answering coverage questions they might have and recommending Auto, Home and Commercial policy coverage.• Process and review insurance documentation and complete all policies for issue.• Take payments from customers and process through the companies processing system.• Maintain office supply inventory.• Gain in-depth and thorough understanding of Country Financial and Property and Casualty Products.• Maintain customer insurance files. This information is personal and confidential. Qualifications/Requirements:Experience: Must have Washington State Insurance License in Property and Casualty, or be willing to obtain a Property and Casualty License. Strong administrative and computer skills. Social media experience is a plus.Personal requirements: Requires an individual with strong organizational ability who manages time and priorities well. Ability to be precise and accurate. Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Assertiveness with a tactful, direct approach is necessary. Possess the ability to exercise critical thinking, problem solving and judgment. Must work well independently. Must maintain strict confidentiality at all times, both in and out of the workplace.
