Job Title: Technical Delivery Managers
Role Summary
The end-to-end delivery of technical projects bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. They manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk while ensuring high-quality software, infrastructure, or data solutions. They focus on engineering excellence, process optimization, and team leadership to drive project success
Key Responsibilities
Technical Delivery Ownership – Location (NY/NJ) - Onsite
· Own day‑to‑day technical delivery across AML/Actimize workstreams
· Translate program‑level plans into detailed technical execution plans
Manage delivery of:
· Actimize configuration and customization
· Data ingestion and integration
· Interface development and batch/real‑time processing
· Ensure technical deliverables meet functional, performance, and compliance requirements
Actimize Platform Leadership
· Act as the technical subject‑matter lead for NICE Actimize implementations, including:
· IFM (Integrated Financial Messaging)
· Transaction Monitoring
· CDD / KYC
· Watchlist Filtering
Guide teams on Actimize:
· Architecture
· Data models
· Rules, typologies, and scenarios
· generation and workflows
· Support tuning, threshold optimization, and performance improvements
Engineering & Integration Management
· Manage technical teams across:
· Java / Actimize development
· ETL / data engineering
· Database and performance tuning
Oversee integrations with:
· Source systems (payments, core banking, customer data)
· Upstream and downstream AML systems
· Ensure data quality, completeness, and lineage for regulatory traceability
4. Environment, Release & Production Readiness
· Own and manage:
· Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments
· Release planning, cutover, and deployment activities
· Drive production readiness including:
· Capacity planning
· Performance testing
· Batch monitoring and controls
· Partner with infrastructure and support teams to ensure system stability
5. Quality, Risk & Issue Management
· Enforce technical standards, best practices, and SDLC compliance
· Proactively identify and mitigate:
· Technical risks
· Data issues
· Performance bottlenecks
· Lead root cause analysis and resolution of defects and production issues
· Ensure strong documentation for audit and regulatory review
6. Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
· Business analysts
· Compliance and AML operations
· QA and UAT teams
Communicate technical progress, risks, and dependencies to:
· Program Director
· Client technology leadership
· Support regulatory, audit, and model validation inquiries from a technical standpoint
7. Team Leadership & Mentoring
· Lead and mentor technical team members onsite
· Provide hands‑on guidance and code/design reviews when needed
· Ensure team productivity, accountability, and delivery quality
· Support onboarding and ramp‑up of new technical resources
Required Qualifications
Experience
· 12+ years of IT experience in Financial Services
· 5+ years managing technical delivery for AML or Financial Crime programs
· Strong, hands‑on experience with NICE Actimize (mandatory)
· Proven experience in:
· System integration
· Data‑intensive platforms
· Large enterprise environments
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of:
· Actimize architecture and components
· AML transaction monitoring systems
· Financial services data (payments, customer profiles, transactions)
Strong background in:
· Java / J2EE
· UNIX / Linux
· SQL / Oracle / relational databases
· Batch scheduling and monitoring
· Experience with data quality, reconciliation, and controls
Soft Skills & Leadership
· Strong delivery ownership and execution mindset
· Excellent communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
· Ability to operate effectively in high‑pressure, regulatory environments
· Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
· Comfortable reporting into a senior Program Director
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
· Master’s degree preferred but not mandator
