UX Designer / Information Architect (Mid–Senior Level)
Experience: 8–12 years
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced UX Designer / Information Architect with 8 to 12 years’ experience who can translate complex requirements into intuitive, user‑centric experiences. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, researchers, designers, and developers to deliver high‑quality UX solutions at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify business and user requirements
- Conduct user and domain research to identify user needs and pain points
- Create UX artifacts including personas, user journeys, workflows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Design and present high‑fidelity prototypes for stakeholder reviews and developer handoff
- Iterate designs based on user and stakeholder feedback
- Maintain design consistency by leveraging UX pattern libraries and standards
- Partner with UX leads, visual designers, and developers to ensure timely delivery
- Guide teams on UX best practices within assigned projects
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–10 years of hands-on experience as a UX Designer or Information Architect
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process, problem‑solving, and execution
- Expertise in Figma; familiarity with Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision
- Experience with collaboration and whiteboarding tools such as FigJam and Lucid
- Strong understanding of usability, interaction design, and information architecture
Behavioral Competencies
- Impactful Communication: Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and vision
- Collaboration: Proven experience working with cross‑functional teams
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet aggressive timelines
Other Preferences
- Critical: Experience integrating AI tools into the design process
- Critical: Understanding of designing UX for AI‑driven products
- Bachelor’s degree in UX, Design, HCI, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in the life sciences domain is a plus
- Exposure to accessibility‑focused design is desirable
