JOB DESCRIPTION
Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Resource Manager. The primary function of the Resource Manager is to manage resourcing for all potential and assigned projects. This role acts as the liaison between Solution Engineers, the Solutions Delivery Organization (SDO), Practice Teams, Account/Opportunity Teams, and Talent Strategy Teams regarding resourcing across all work. Success is achieved through optimal resource allocation, increased utilization rates, and consistent improvement in project delivery efficiency quarter over quarter.
The Resource Manager ensures timely project delivery by managing resourcing effectively and communicating any resourcing issues that may impact scheduled deadlines to the appropriate Account/Opportunity Teams and Engagement Managers. This role also enforces company processes by ensuring all resource requests follow proper procedures. This fast-paced position requires excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Act as the point of contact for resource requests, prioritization, allocation, and booking confirmation.
- Facilitate the analysis and proactive outreach for opportunities within the Salesforce (Everest) opportunity pipeline, ensuring timely and strategic engagement to maximize potential outcomes.
- Build, maintain, and communicate resource forecasts.
- Collaborate with Solutions & Practice Leaders to identify appropriate resources/requirements for each account and project.
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization, and work with Practice Leaders to address and resolve these issues.
- Manage and increase utilization numbers against company goals.
- Analyze and report on monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization trends to various leadership teams across the SDO & Practice.
- Facilitate strategic demand planning sessions and effectively escalate issues or risks.
- Alert project teams of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing.
- Manage and maintain the resource skillset matrices.
- Identify resource training needs and coordinate with Practice Leadership and Engagement Managers.
- Hold Engagement Managers and Project Managers accountable for updating project budget trackers.
- Support recruiting efforts by identifying new resource requirements and managing the creation and approval of requisitions.
- Provide a 60-day line of sight on potential recruiting demand.
- Drive continuous improvement in demand planning tools and processes.
- Addition and maintenance of IPC resource resumes & bios.
- Demonstrate core values and a high level of self-awareness to respond to all situations and people with poise, professionalism, and appropriate communications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in resource management, project management, or recruiting, with strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Microsoft Excel.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary to drive business forward or achieve results.
- Highly detail-oriented and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease.
