  • Create innovative and compelling experiences for our Truist clients. Responsible for defining, championing, building, delivering, and measuring products/platforms and strategies for their segment.
  • Manage and lead high performing product management teams consisting of product managers, product owners, and product analysts.
  • Responsible for leading a team of product managers and product owners, setting direction and priorities for products, services, and experiences.
  • Responsible for understanding industry landscape, competitive environment, and voice of client
  • Develop product roadmaps in collaboration with Relationship Managers and Line of Business (LOB) partners.
  • Manage teams that develop and groom backlog from EPICS down to user stories in partnership with LOB, User Experience/User Interface, Content, Technology, and Operations Partner with Tech Agile teams on development, rollout, and post-production support
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, & Compliance on new product development and remediation when applicable
  • Partner with associated LOBs, marketing, operation, and readiness teams on commercialization and rollout
  • Responsible for the client experience/results/KPIs of assigned platforms
  • Manage product pricing, including modeling pricing changes
  • Manage annual budget, including monthly forecasting
  • Hire, mentor and manage team members; proactively provide timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback in efforts to cultivate appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning
  • Responsible for leading teams across related but disparate functions to support successful deployment of new products and integrated experiences.

Requirements

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or other technical field.
  • Must have 5 years of progressive experience in development or product owner positions performing/utilizing the following:
    • Leading cross functional teams
    • Working as a Product Owner for Agile team(s)
    • Defining and delivering large-scale business initiatives to execute on a product roadmap, including stakeholder management, requirements elicitation, test planning/support and business-level product validation
    • Demonstrating technical acumen and working with the technology organization to align product and technology roadmaps
    • Translating strategic plans into tactical daily actions for execution
    • Leading cross-functional teams without formal authority
    • Managing concurrent projects in a fast-based, results-driven environment
    • Interpreting data and trends, diagnosing problems, and recommending action plans to resolve issues
    • Utilizing: Rally, Workfront, Airtable, and Confluence
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in digital product and/or digital content development within the banking and/or financial services industry.
  • Position may be eligible to work in a hybrid remote model and is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Applicants must be able to work onsite at Truist offices in Atlanta, GA at least 4 days per week.
