The Security Operations & Engineering Intern will contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen MathWorks' security posture. This role focuses on a defined project aimed at improving our security capabilities, tooling, and process across the organization.

The Security Operations & Engineering intern will:

• Help lead and contribute to a security operations project with clear requirements and outcomes.


• Collaborate with Security Operations and Engineering team members on tooling and automation improvements.


• Research and evaluate security technologies, techniques, and ways to improve processes.


• Document findings and present future project recommendations to stakeholders.

• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting language.


• Experience with querying large data sets for security relevant information.


• Basic networking, sysinternals knowledge.

• Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's level degree.
