Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced 24-bed ED with 3 trauma bays
- Manage patients with conditions ranging from trauma, stroke, sepsis, CHF, and cardiac emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Triage patients effectively, utilizing your clinical judgment and experience
- Administer medications, monitor cardiac rhythms, and interpret ECGs independently
- Assist with procedures and stabilize critically ill patients until admission or transfer

Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state) - we can help with expedited licensure
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENTC certifications required
- Must be comfortable with self-scheduling and floating to other units as needed
- No prior full-time, part-time, or PRN affiliation with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity Health within the past 12 months
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in cardiac rhythm recognition and ECG interpretation
- Experience with Paragon EMR is a plus
- Strong ability to prioritize in a high-acuity, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Competent in ventilator management, high-flow oxygen, and critical care equipment
