Outreach Specialist - Youth & Family

Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as an Outreach Specialist! In this vital role, you will join a compassionate, person-centered team that partners with families in their homes and communities to strengthen safety, resilience, and connection.   As an Outreach Specialist, you will:
  • Build trusting, supportive relationships with youth and caregivers while providing safe, therapeutic, and skill-based interventions that enhance social, emotional, and family functioning.
  • Play an active role in behavior support, collaborative limit setting, and crisis intervention, helping families navigate challenging moments with care and respect.
  • Connect youth and families with meaningful community and program resources so they can build on their strengths and move toward their own treatment goals.
  • Provide transportation to treatment-related activities and events, making it easier for families to fully participate in services and reach their goals.
  • Work closely with Program Management, Home-Based Clinicians, and the Treatment Team to ensure services are well-coordinated, responsive, and truly centered on each family’s needs and voice.

Scheduled: Full Time, 40 hours

  • Flexible hours between 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. to meet the needs of the families

Pay Rate: $22.27/hourly

Required Skills

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in mental health related discipline and one (1) year experience working with youth preferred
    • Associate Degree in Human Services field and one (1) year experience working with youth
  • At least six months experience working with children and/or adolescents with emotional difficulties and their families required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
