Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. is located in San Antonio, Texas. The plant was established in October 2003 and production started in November 2006 at the 2,000 acre site where we produce the Tundra and Tacoma pick-up trucks. We employ 3,000 salaried and hourly employees with 21 suppliers located on-site that employ an additional 3,100 employees. Our manufacturing operations include Stamping, Body Weld, Assembly, Paint and Plastics. Non-manufacturing areas include Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Ordering & Logistics, Production Planning, Purchasing, Quality and Safety.
Skilled Team Members repair and maintain manufacturing equipment in General Maintenance (Production) or Facilities Maintenance.
Must be able to work rotating twelve hour shifts.
Must be able to work weekends.

Key Responsibilities for General Maintenance (Production)
We are seeking individuals with primary logic controls experience
Performing preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures
Designing, assembling, and testing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and systems (involves circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)
Designing, fabricating, machining, and repairing jigs, fixtures and parts (metal, plastic, and wood) for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications.
Writing, programming, troubleshooting, modifying and/or repairing programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment
Troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment using standard and specialized hand/power tools (pipe threader, press, welder, cutting torch, machining, and diagnostic equipment).
Troubleshooting, replacing and/or repairing machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings.
Performing basic administrative skills including computer data entry and documentation of work performed by written and electronic methods
Key Responsibilities for Facilities Maintenance
Operating power house equipment (e.g., boilers, air compressors, chillers, electrical distribution etc.) and industrial waste treatment equipment (facilities maintenance)
Prefer : Curriculum that also included PLC's, robots, 3 phase power and motor controls.
Military Training relevant to Skilled Manufacturing
College or Technical School Degree in a related field
Work Experience :
Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience using Electrical Principles while installing, maintaining and/or trouble shooting equipment on a regular basis or similar military hands on experience with completed technical job training.
Prefer : Industrial Electrical experience at a manufacturing facility using PLC controlled automation.
